Since the day my son got his wings i have never been the same shirt. I wish people would quit shrugging their shoulders at bullies like “kids will be kids!” We throw hundreds of kids together in a building from all backgrounds, and a handful of adults just trying to get through their day in charge of them. As an adult, you don’t have to tolerate bullies. You don’t have to go to work and worry about someone shoving your head into a bookcase. Yes, you have to deal with assholes but you can pretty much ignore them. It’s much harder for a kid. Not much learning going on when you’re being constantly harassed.
Since the day my son got his wings i have never been the same ladies tee and ladies tee
Even being quiet and minding your own business makes you a target. Since the day my son got his wings i have never been the same shirt. I’m so angry for this girl who just wanted to go to school in peace, and her poor mother who sent her kid to school and never saw her again. The administration does not like dealing with bullying because 1) It requires work to actually sort out social conflicts, and administrators don’t like to deal with extra work, and 2) Reporting bullying and dishing out consequences brings attention to it; they’d rather leave it unreported to keep up appearances that nothing is wrong.
Since the day my son got his wings i have never been the same hoodie and sweater
Administrators are judged by the public and their superiors (superintendents, etc.) by what’s on paper. Since the day my son got his wings i have never been the same shirt. If they don’t punish kids, there’s no paper trail that anything’s wrong. Instead, administrators like to “micro-manage” and say that they trust their teachers to handle it. Meanwhile, teachers are begging for consequences to be handed out and for the administration to exert their power.
